Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will
also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not
reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6
Throughout the history of St. Martin’s we have loved and served the Lord as we have answered the call to Gather, Encourage, Equip and Send God’s people.
Faithful stewardship is about discipleship and is an opportunity to bless the body of Christ, the Church. It is a celebration of God’s blessings, recognizing God as the creator and giver of all that we have and are, and then serving Him as stewards of his gifts through our time, talents and treasures.
You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:11
If you would like to support the mission and ministry of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church we invite you to consider using our convenient and secure online giving program. It allows you to donate on a regular (recurring gift) or occasional (one time gift) basis. Simply click the “Donate” button at the top of the page!
We recognize that our offering is an important part of the worship service. For those that give online, you can simply write “I give electronically” on the outside of your regular envelope. We also have cards available in the pew racks that can be placed in the offering plate to indicate that an electronic gift has been made.

Giving is an important aspect of the Christian life. After all, Luke records that Jesus himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). At St. Martin's, we want to encourage all members to pray about giving and give as God leads them.
“Stewardship is what we do after we believe.”
