HOW CAN I HELP?

Donate Sheets to the Flying Quilters:  Our quilting group is in need of solid sheets, especially white ones. If you have any gently used sheets that you would like to donate, please drop them off to the church office.

Consider becoming a member of the School Board: The St. Martin’s School Board is seeking new membership. If you are interested in serving on the School Board, please contact Amy Stensland at amyestensland@gmail.com for more information.

Join the Altar Guild or sign up for  Communion Clean up: St. Martin’s Altar Guild is looking for new members. We have been a small group for many years and need to add new members to our group to better serve the congregation. The Altar Guild serves an important ministry in the congregation. Our main responsibility is preparing the sanctuary for worship on Sunday. It only takes about an hour to prepare the altar and is typically done on Saturday. It involves setting out the linens, communion ware, and changing candles. We meet as a group three or four times per year. We are happy to provide training and you will be able to pick weeks that are convenient to you for set up.

For those that may not be able to serve on the Altar Guild, we are also looking for additional help with communion clean-up. This involves removing all the communion ware and linen from the sanctuary, refilling the stacks of communion glasses, and washing the chalices, etc. It only takes about 5 minutes after the 8:00 service (they just remove the used chalices and bread), and about 20 minutes after the 10:00 service.
