At St. Martin's Lutheran Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you will join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to either our 8:00am or 10:00 a.m. service.
Our church is located at 1120 Spa Road, and parking is located on either side of the church with entrances off of Forest Drive or Spa Road.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you will see both. We just want you to be comfortable!
When you walk in, find one of our ushers and introduce yourself. They will show you where everything is. If you have any questions about the service itself, the ushers are able to provide helpful answers.
Our services follow a liturgical style of worship. All Christians are welcome to receive communion here. Please fill out the blue attendance card and let us know that you were here. Hand those to the ushers during communion.
In between services you can join our inter-generational learning hour F.I.S.H. (Friends in Service of Him) in the Fellowship rooms at 9:00am. Also at this time is our confirmation class for middle school aged students and youth gatherings for high school aged students.
Be sure to hang around after the 10am service and join us for coffee and refreshments. You will have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We would also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
