The capacity of the two current columbariums is ninety niches. Each niche holds up to two urns. As demand dictates, a third columbarium wall can be added in the design of the garden.
What are the Benefits to choosing St. Martin's Columbarium? Spiritual Site for Final Resting - This affords church members and their families the opportunity to select their final resting place within the church that has been central to their lives.
St. Martin's provides a sacred site of beauty and dignity where loved ones can visit and meditate at any time they visit the church.
Advanced Planning - By planning in advance, you save your loved ones the stress and decisions that will be necessary at the time of need. It also provides peace of mind by reserving a niche in the columbarium ahead of time. As in all things, cost will go up. By planning and purchasing now, in advance of your need, savings may be significant.
What is the cost of a niche? The cost of a niche is $3,000. The remains of two loved ones can be placed in a single niche
Are there other ways to contribute? This is a congregation funded ministry. No church or school funds are used. A memorial financial gift may be made in the name of a loved one regardless of whether a niche is reserved. Also, a project donation in any amount is welcome. In summary, there are three ways to participate in the Peace Garden ministry: Reserve a niche; Make a Memorial Gift; Make a Project Donation. The Peace Garden will be completely self funded. If you are interested in donating to this project, please visit our Giving page.
