Welcoming All, Growing Together, Sharing God’s Love, and Serving Christ with Energy and Joy!
St. Martin's Welcomes YOU!
St. Martin’s joyfully affirms that every person is a child of God, made in God’s image. We recognize that we are called to be one body with many members; all are necessary for the health and well-being of the church body. We welcome you because you are you. We embrace your race, ethnicity, heritage, and are committed to the work of racial equity. We embrace your relationship status: married, divorced, widowed, or single; your gender identity and expression, sexual orientation; your socio-economic status; your age; your life circumstances. We welcome you to St. Martin's because you complete us. Through our liturgy and hymnody; through candles and bells; through voices raised and brass played; through Word and sacrament---through all that we do, may God be praised. And may each one of us be renewed in the "good tidings of great joy" which is for all people!

A Lifetime Gift™
The gift no one wants to discuss, yet it could be the best present ever! We plan for so many things in our life; weddings, children, school, college, buying a home, vacation, retirement...but we are not particularly good at planning for the what if's.
Join us for a 1-hour presentation in the St. Martin’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall to hear Shelly Halverson, creator and facilitator of A Lifetime Gift™ share insights from her ministry as a Certified Celebrant about how to prepare for the what if’s and the end of your life. During the presentation, participants walk through a living document that reflects a checklist, important documents, final wishes, and personal instructions -- all the things you know about your world, but who else knows this information if you need assistance? It's a gift for you and your loved ones in the event of a major health change or end of life situation. This tool is meant to give peace of mind. A 19-page workbook will be provided to each participant by our sponsor, Thrivent Financial. Light refreshments will be provided. (A Lifetime Gift™ / Shelly Halverson is not affiliated with Thrivent Financial.)

Bus Trip to Sight & Sound Theatre
We invite you to sign up for a trip to see Daniel at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster on August 7. This spectacular theatre experience will bring to life the events of Daniel's amazing life from the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions. It is one of the Bible's most hope-filled stories. Sign up by e-mailing Betty Knupp (Knuppster@aol.com) to secure a place with payment to follow by mid-June. First come, first served. Our tickets are in the center orchestra.
The cost is $160 which includes the coach bus and driver tip, the theatre show, and lunch at Miller's Smorgasbord. You can give your check to Betty (payable to Elizabeth Knupp) or put it in her box in the church office. Please include your e-mail so she can send a reminder and trip details in early August. We will depart from St. Martin's at 8:15am on August 7, arriving home around 6:00pm. Families and guests are welcome.
