Worship During Covid-19

We will begin holding in-person worship services, both inside and outside beginning Palm Sunday, March 28. This will be a modified reopening, meaning that all of our developed safety protocols will be implemented for both outside and inside worship. These protocols include a check-in station, mask wearing and social distancing at all times. No congregational singing or response while indoors, and shorter than normal worship services.

While many within the congregation report having one or both shots, we know that many still do not. Therefore, our plan is to offer regular outdoor worship options and continue to utilize our YouTube channel. Please note one change to our virtual worship is that we will begin to “live-stream” the 10 am indoor service. So starting on Palm Sunday the service will post at 10 am instead of 8 am. As before, the service will catalogue on our channel and will be available for later viewing at any future. We invite you to worship with us in-person or on YouTube and look forward to the time we can all worship together.

About the Service

Led by the pastors, lay leaders and musicians, prayer, music, and the Gospel message of the Christian faith are interwoven to create a beautiful and inspiring experience of the congregation’s expression of faith.

Holy Communion

Holy Communion is celebrated each week. The Lutheran faith acknowledges the real presence of Jesus crucified and risen in the Eucharist. All baptized Christians who affirm God’s presence and forgiveness in Holy Communion are invited to the Lord’s table. Both wine and grape juice are available.  We also have a gluten free option available.  Those not receiving bread and wine are invited to come forward for a blessing.

Children in Worship

We encourage parents to include kids of all ages in worship.  In support of this we offer worship bags at the rear of the sanctuary with quiet activities kids can enjoy during the service either in the pew with their family or at a table in the rear of the sanctuary.  We also offer a Children’s Message during the 10am service where kids are called to the front for a special message.

Special Services

Special services are held to celebrate holy seasons throughout the year including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Wednesday evening Lenten services, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday.  We also conduct a pet blessing service in September and a Veteran's Day service in November.
